Profits from the sale of this quiz book will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, registered charity in England and Wales (261017), Scotland (SC039907) and the Isle of Man (604).
Before Mrs Jess Matheson died she had compiled over 30 quizzes to be sold to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. When she died her quizzes had raised over £5000 and given many people hours of puzzling pleasure.
Following requests from puzzlers to reprint some of those quizzes we have put them together in three volumes and profits from these quiz books will still go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
There is no prize money as there was with the original quizzes, just the satisfaction of getting the answers right, the knowledge that you are still supporting a worthwhile cause and an ongoing appreciation for Jess’s keen mind, wit and wealth of general knowledge to be found within each quiz.
