Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at www.cardsandgiftwrap.co.uk. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Standard Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Please note that during the busy months of October, November and December large letters and parcels will only have a Tracked48 option.

Delivery delays can occasionally occur.

There are additional options at the checkout should you wish your order to be tracked or next day guarantee. Please note that Tracked48 is not guaranteed to arrive within 2 working days, that is only Royal Mail’s delivery aim. Once the item is posted Cards and Gift Wrap has no influence on when it will arrive. However it is tracked unlike standard delivery which has no tracking at all.

For Guaranteed by 1pm delivery orders must be placed by 9am the previous day to allow time to package your order and get to the post office. In the event that we are unable to fulfil the delivery, eg due to sickness or absence, we will contact you and offer a full refund or alternative delivery option with a refund of excess delivery charge.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses

Cards and Gift Wrap ships to addresses within the UK with Royal Mail. Large parcels that don’t fit within the Royal Mail small parcel category due to size and/or weight will be shipped with Parcelforce.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped.

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Cards and Gift Wrap is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages

Cards and Gift Wrap is responsible for goods until they are delivered to you. If your order arrives damaged, please notify us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the damaged item and packaging.

Please retain all packaging and the damaged item, as we will require this evidence to process your claim and seek recompense or replacement from Royal Mail or other service used.

We will always try to replace any damaged items first; if a replacement is not possible, we will offer a refund.

For loss (non-delivery), please note: claims to Royal Mail cannot be submitted until 14 days have passed from dispatch. Once this period has elapsed, we will submit a claim and arrange a replacement or refund.

Losses

While Royal Mail only accepts claims for lost items after 14 days from dispatch, we will proactively try to trace any delayed parcels during this period.

If your parcel has not arrived by the expected delivery date, please contact us promptly so we can follow up with Royal Mail to locate your item.

Please note that this tracking effort does not guarantee delivery but sometimes helps resolve delays earlier.

We appreciate your patience while awaiting the outcome of these enquiries. After 14 days, if the parcel remains undelivered, we will submit a formal claim and discuss replacement or refund options with you.

International Shipping Policy

All overseas mail is shipped with Royal Mail and there is a choice of tracked/guaranteed at the checkout.
