Jackie Gale is a talented textile artist and illustrator based in Plymouth, Devon. Originally from the Midlands, she has always had a deep love for textile art and is well-known for her vibrant, uplifting illustrations and semi-abstract landscape pieces. Her distinctive creations are crafted using repurposed fabrics and textile materials.
From a young age, Jackie found inspiration in the world around her and had a natural urge to create. Everyday items like dried leaves, garden scraps, or even discarded milk bottle tops became potential art materials. She credits her resourcefulness and creativity to those early experiences. Today, Jackie transforms rescued fabrics and vintage materials into one-of-a-kind artworks, each with its own unique story to tell.
